But I didn&#039;t make the leap to edtech, and I appreciate the thoughts you express above.  I suppose it&#039;s true of any tool/technology - hence arguments about the inherent goodness or badness or neutrality of, say, guns.

So what do we need to do to make the leap from tool to agent?  In other words, when do we stop &quot;working&quot; a device and begin to &quot;use&quot; it?  What do we as educators need to do in order to help our students?</description>
