The Cutting Edge
I’ve come to realize that I rely on Steve the TechWhittler to keep me abreast of the latest and greatest edtech tools coming over the horizon. Sure, I find my share of new and exciting tools with which to push the envelope, but more often than not, my finds are from the quirky and obscure corners of the web that are rich in “color,” but pale in practicality… but that’s balance, eh. Just this morning, the Whittler turned me on to Empressr, a web-based presentation app that looks very promising. For starters, it’s FREE, Web2.0, and integrates video/audio. Then, of course it has that soft orangey look-n-feel… I can dig it! Now, I just need a project to try it out on ;->
